This year’s gala honored the actors Penélope Cruz and Bowen Yang, the filmmaker Walter Salles and the rocker Bruce Springsteen, who closed out the evening with a performance of his songs “Streets of Philadelphia,” “Atlantic City” and “Land of Hope and Dreams.”
