Bruce Springsteen names Minneapolis shooting victims — Alex Pretti and Renee Good — and government officials (“King Trump,” Miller, Noem) in his somberly enraged new song. Springsteen’s equally topical “41 Shots,” about the police shooting of Amadou Diallo, was an elegy, but “Streets of Minneapolis” is a rallying cry. With distant echoes of Bob Dylan’s “Chimes of Freedom,” it rises from acoustic strumming to a full band with a fervent group singalong, mixing in crowd chants of “ICE out now!” Springsteen vows, “We’ll take our stand for this land and the stranger in our midst.”
